Albert has a broad experience in the areas of surface science and surface analysis. He earned his PhD in physics at the University of Münster. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Universities of Utah and Delaware, he worked for more than 10 years at the subsidiaries of two German hightech companies in the USA: as application scientist at ION-TOF USA (manufacturer for scientific instruments for surface analysis) and as General Manager of Tascon USA, a contract analysis laboratory for chemical surface analysis.

Albert was one of the founders of CNM Technologies in 2011 and is CEO of the company.
